Easiest Bag Ever!

I made this bag for my little girl, for her church bag. She loves it and I loved it because it was so easy!

Here is how you do it, are you ready?

Materials: A Fabric Place Mat, Ribbon, and a Sewing Machine.

First thing I did was sew the ribbon on, there really isn't any rhyme or reason to my sewing so I don't know how many inches apart, I pinned it and sewed where I thought it looked good and copied it on the other side.

You can use as much or as little ribbon as you want to use for the handles, I just put as much as I thought looked good, but you can use as much or as little as you think looks good for the look your going for.

Second: I just sewed up the sides of the Place Mat, and WA-la that's it!





This is what it looks like from the inside. I also burnt the edge of the ribbon so it wouldn't fray.



I wish there was a little more to this tutorial but I love how easy it was! We made these in my church a long time ago and I always wanted to do them again. I'm so glad that it was as easy as I remember!
